The company
Lindestrøm ApS was founded in 2003 and has been owner-led ever since.
The company began as a supplier of control systems and complete process installations. Early deliveries included electrical panels, software and operator interfaces for packaging and filling equipment, a process plant producing water to defined specifications for wash testing, and a trade-approved weighing system for enzyme dosing.
A second line of work has been bespoke instruments for research use: equipment that forms blood clots under controlled motion in several axes, so the clot takes a defined structure and can be analysed afterwards; a heat exchanger for holding test animals at a set temperature during trials; and a measurement concept for comparing blood loss under different medication.
The work then moved from delivery to assessment: life-extension studies for ageing filling lines, a company-wide concept for vision systems covering configuration, supplier selection and statistical evaluation, and tender documentation for large infrastructure projects.
Since then the company has concentrated on pharmaceutical fill & finish. Assignments have covered new filling lines from the specification phase through every phase to qualification, the upgrade and re-qualification of existing lines, data collection and reporting, and troubleshooting and start-up support at production sites in Denmark and abroad.
Today Lindestrøm ApS primarily works on the client’s side of the table, from contract negotiation and technical specification through design, FAT, SAT and qualification.
